The Cathedral’s function suite has a dedicated entrance, reception foyer and kitchen serving two oak-panelled rooms and a third, boardroom, from 2007. Our team will help you to make the most of the exquisite gothic surroundings of one of Liverpool’s landmark buildings. We tailor a menu to suit your needs, from business breakfasts or after-work supper meetings to finger buffets and five-course banquets, all freshly prepared on the premises.

The Western Rooms serves conferences, receptions, training courses and meetings as well as hosting private dinner parties and weddings. Not only do customers return time after time because of the warmth of welcome and standard of food, but the endless creative ‘added extras’ that can enhance any event, such as tours of the Cathedral, its tower or embroidery, or of course from 2007 the new visitor attraction The Great Space. Click on ‘Group Bookings’ for a flavour of the possibilities, which can be added equally to a leisure and business event.

Are you planning an evening event? An added feature from January 2007 is the presentation theatre, showing an HD panoramic film to daytime visitors. A private viewing for 30 people at a time can be arranged – a great introduction to the Cathedral and the city. Or if you are organising a workshop-based event in the evening, why not hire the theatre – a short lift-ride away from the Concert Room?
