5 things to do in Liverpool This Christmas Time


Christmas is soon approaching, and the festive season is one most people want to bask in and enjoy. It is a time of hope, joy, light, community, music, and food…

1. The Light Before Christmas

Bring some light into the beginning of December by attending Liverpool Cathedral’s captivating indoor light show ‘The Light before Christmas: The Angels are coming’ , inspired by the first Christmas, the interior of the Cathedral will be lit up, as angels guide you through an incredible display of twinkling lights, mesmerising projections and beautiful music. It is the perfect way to start off the best time of the year. This event runs between the 2nd - 9th of December. 

2. Attend a Carol Service

Get into the Christmas spirit with an enjoyable Christmas Carol Service. There's a whole range to choose from, with shorter, family-style services, to more traditional, full procession services. These include services on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that you can attend with the whole family, friends or even alone for some tranquillity. 

3. Watch a Christmas Film

A Christmas Film is the perfect way to bring everyone together to enjoy the festive feeling. Enjoy family favourite, The Snowman, accompanied by a live orchestra, on several dates during December.  This award-winning show features some of the UK's finest musicians!
