Cathedral prayer for Brexit
The cathedral has published prayers for our current uncertainty over Brexit.

We bring before you, Lord,
our nation at a time of deep uncertainty, praying for all members of Parliament in their responsibilities
and for the ministers of the Crown, that at this time you will give grace, wisdom and understanding.

We bring before you, Lord, all who feel at this time
a sense of frustration and powerlessness,
and all who fear for the future

Hear our prayer
God of the desolate and despairing, your Son Jesus Christ was forced to carry
the instrument of his own death - the cross that
became for us the source of life and healing.
Lighten our darkness that you may be for us a fount of life and a spring of hope; through Him who died for us,
yet is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever
