The Festive season is upon us … we have lots of fun and family-friendly ways to spend Christmas 2022.
Choose from a wide range of Christmas Events and Services at Liverpool Cathedral, from a chill afternoon enjoying Coffee and Carols to a special start on Christmas Eve, with our Family Christmas Carols.
Our Christmas Services
If you’re looking for a more reflective or spiritual Christmas, we’d love to see you at any of our upcoming services, from Morning Prayer and Eucharist to our Tree & Crib service and Holly Bough. On Thursday 15 December, we’ll be hosting the Alder Centre Candlelight Service, for those affected by the death of a child, and on Friday 16 December, we’ll hold the Marie Curie Lights to Remember Service, for all those whose who would like to remember loved ones.
As Christmas Day approaches, we’ll be looking forward to welcoming you to our Carols for Christmas Eve, our First Eucharist of Christmas and our Festival Eucharist for Christmas day.
Music Lover?
Why not attend our Christmas Organ Gala… In this festive extravaganza hear our home team of organists play festive favourites alongside Steven Manning’s and our Liverpool 24 Choir. Tickets are only £10 on the door or can be bought online here.
Or
Enjoy a Christmas Sequence of Carols performed by our Cathedral Choir. This will include a festive programme of Carols, alongside an accompaniment of readings.
Something for the kids…
Make it a Christmas to remember, with a special screening of family-favourite The Snowman, accompanied by a live orchestra. As well as this you will enjoy The Flight Before Christmas – the new Shaun the Sheep film staged with a live orchestra for the first time! Tickets can be bought here.
Just a visit?
If you’re coming for a general visit, why not stop by during Coffee and Carols, or visit our Cathedral Shop, for a lovely range of Christmas Cards and gifts? Our Welsford Bistro will also be open throughout December, serving seasonal favourites alongside their existing well-loved menu.
