Liverpool Cathedral News | Sunday 11th June

We are heading into another busy week of worship and events. Take a look at what is going on and learn more about how you can join us.
"Welcome to this week’s Cathedral News as we now move into what is called Ordinary Time, or the Sundays after Trinity.
Today is the first Sunday after Trinity and now we begin to explore more fully the Gospel of Matthew. According to this week's blog from Canon Theologian Leslie Francis ‘We pick up the narrative in chapter nine where Jesus holds out a new start to broken people.’
Our curate Debs Davies has a new start this weekend as she was ordained Priest on Saturday and will preside at her first Eucharist on Sunday 11th June. All are welcome to come and support her as she transitions into her new ministry.
