This week we have announced our upcoming Christmas events and services as we get ready to Light up your Christmas. We have lots of festive events coming up such as our upcoming installation ‘The Light Before Christmas’ , Carol Concerts and Wreath Making.
However, you won’t have to wait until then to find something to do at the Cathedral, as November is packed full of things to do…
Are you feeling creative?
Come along to The Cathedral and stitch in the company of others on 2nd November, yarn and fabric stitchers of all skills and abilities can share skills, patterns, ideas and friendship. You bring your own project to work on OR start one of ours.
Music lover?
Join us for a variety of uplifting music on Fridays this November. Friday 4th November welcomes Sonny Fieldling, Tenor: Vocal Recital in the Lady Chapel.

The Cathedral Choir will be singing John Rutter’s Requiem in place of evensong on Sunday 13th November, as part of our Remembrance Day liturgy.
A commitment to Justice
Climate and racial justice walk hand in hand - we can't have one without the other. Marking the start eve of the COP27 UN Climate talks, join us as we take time to reflect, talk and take action on racial and climate justice as the church.
Willing to learn?
Spiritual Journeying with the Enneagram
The day will be suitable for those who are new to the Enneagram as well as to those who are already familiar with its ideas and want to deepen their understanding and application of its wisdom. The day will be led by Dr Hugh Stradling and facilitated by other experienced Enneagram practitioners.
It costs £20 and Lunch is provided.
