The People of the Path

As Liverpool Cathedral was “Built By the People, For the People”, the people associated with the building and its history are particularly important to its story. This is why we launched ‘The People’s Path’ a little over ten years ago – here the loved ones of those who have contributed to our community and building are celebrated and remembered both in the physical fabric of the cathedral as well as at our biannual ‘People’s Path Celebration Service’.
In 2024 we will celebrate the100th anniversary of the consecration of the Cathedral with a range of exciting events taking place across the year.
As a part of these centenary events we are launching our ‘People of the Path’ campaign to tie in to our People’s Path. We would love to see the people celebrated in the path, so if you have purchased a brick, please send us photos of your loved ones who are featured in the path. These photos will be displayed at our two People’s Path Celebration Services in 2024 (10th March and 1st of September).
Photos can be submitted to bricks@liverpoolcathedral.org.uk and must be submitted by the 10th of February 2024.
Please make sure they are of good quality and in .jpg or .png format.
We look forward to seeing your photos!
