Catch up on the latest news from Liverpool Cathedral for Sunday, 9th January 2022

Welcome from Dean Sue

A very warm welcome to this weeks e-news and a Happy New Year to you all. Christmas feels an eternity ago and it has only been two weeks! Please can I take this opportunity to thank you for all the cards and gifts given to us over the Christmas period. They are very much appreciated. And may I also take this opportunity to wish you a Happy and Blessed New Year.

The month of January is a quiet month and it gives the staff time for some much needed rest and refreshment before we begin to look towards Lent, Holy Week and Easter. There will of course be our regular services and there will be opportunities to join study groups. So please do watch out for new information on this e-news.

Canon Mike is presiding and preaching at St Christopher, Norris Green this morning.

Worship with us this week
Join us in person for 8:30am Morning Prayer and the 12:05 pm Eucharist on weekdays and Saturdays (Livestream at 8:30 on Sundays), and Evensong/Evening  Prayer at 5:30pm on weekdays and 3pm on Saturdays. Click the following link and look below the main banner of our website beneath ‘Services’ for each day’s in-person service offerings and locations: www.liverpoolcathedral.org.uk/.

The livestreaming of worship is under review, as some of our volunteers take a break, and we await the installation of further kit. As the Cathedral is being used more for large events it is not possible to leave equipment and wires around the building, as was the case earlier in the year.

Nevertheless, the 8:30am service of Morning Prayer (Mon-Sat) and Holy Communion (Sundays) continues to be streamed to the Cathedral Facebook page.

To stream a service on Facebook, follow this link to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LiverpoolCathedral.

Streaming to YouTube will resume when the new equipment is installed.
