This week’s News from Liverpool Cathedral – a Place of Encounter

Catch up on the latest news from Liverpool Cathedral for Sunday, 20th February 2022
Welcome from Dean Sue
Welcome to this weeks e-news. I am writing this before we begin our light show Space, The Universe and Everything which starts on Friday and runs from February 18th - 26th February (You can book your ticket via Ticket Quarter here. or by calling 0344 8000 400). It will be a fantastic light show lighting up the inside of the Cathedral and as you walk through the Cathedral you journey through space and the universe. It will give people the opportunity to think about the world we live in and God’s creation. So as we journey through the Universe we pray:
Living God,
you call us to be good stewards of this earthly home,
strengthen us to care for your creation;
forgive us when,
through our greed and indifference
we abuse its beauty and damage its potential.
Empower us,
through your Spirit to so nurture and love the world,
that all creation sings to your glory Amen
