This week’s News from Liverpool Cathedral – a Place of Encounter

Catch up on the latest news from Liverpool Cathedral for Sunday, 24th April 2022
Dean Sue’s welcome
A very warm welcome to this weeks e-news. Easter Sunday seems a long time ago, but it was only last week. As we return from our Lenten Pilgrimage we settle into the Biblical accounts of the resurrection. If ‘settle in’ are the right words as the resurrection of Christ shook the world and continues to surprise us so ‘settle in’ are not the correct words. As we reflect on the resurrection of Christ it is good to reflect on those moments of resurrection in our own lives and in the world around us.
Lord Jesus Christ,
you are risen from the tomb, alleluia, alleluia!
Bring us to share the new life of your Easter resurrection,
that we may live with you for ever;
for you are risen from the tomb, alleluia, alleluia!
Amen.
