This weeks news from Liverpool Cathedral - A Place of Encounter

Catch up on the latest news from Liverpool Cathedral for Sunday, 26th June 2022
Welcome from Dean Sue
A very warm welcome to this weeks e-news. On Sunday Bishop Bev will be ordaining 12 people to be Deacons in the church of God. It will an exciting day for them and the parishes where they will serve. We too give thanks to them as the Cathedral Church and we congratulate them.
On Sunday our Gospel speaks about the call to discipleship. We are all called to follow the way of Christ. Some will be called to ordination some will be called to show the love of Christ where they work and live.
Lord Jesus Christ,
you call your people
to follow you wherever you lead.
Give us grace to follow you,
that we may overcome the obstacles
in our way;
for you are our God. Amen.
