Installation of Bishop John Perumbalath

Bishop John Perumbalath will be installed as the 9th Bishop of Liverpool at a special service at Liverpool Cathedral. The service will take place at 3pm and all are welcome.
Bishop John said “I am full of hope and trust as I look forward to my installation on 22nd April when my public ministry in the diocese will begin. There are challenges to face and opportunities to explore. We will love each other and learn together as we serve God and the world he loves. I am excited about getting to know the people and places in the diocese and journeying alongside you all.
I thank Bishop Bev for her leadership during this vacancy and she will continue to be the Acting Diocesan until my installation. I hope and pray that the installation service will be an occasion of celebration where we give thanks to God for our mission and ministry as the people of God in Liverpool, and an opportunity to renew our commitment and vision.”
