Join us for a spectacular choral event as the choirs of Liverpool, Blackburn, and Chester Cathedrals come together for a special Evensong in celebration of Liverpool Cathedral’s centenary year. This unique collaboration will fill the Cathedral with the powerful and uplifting sounds of three combined choirs, creating an unforgettable worship experience.
The service will feature Herbert Howells’ magnificent St Paul’s Service, a masterpiece of 20th-century choral music, renowned for its soaring melodies and rich harmonies. Additionally, the choirs will perform the dramatic anthem War in Heaven by Cox, written for the Feast of St Michael and All Angels, capturing the celestial battle with its stirring composition.
