Liverpool Cathedral was built by the People, for the People, to the Glory of God. Now is your chance to come and meet some of those people connected to the Cathedral’s history. Join our Education team as we celebrate 100 years since the Cathedral’s consecration.
- Come and learn about Giles Gilbert- Scott the architect, build arches and perhaps design your own cathedral.
- Discover the bravery of Noel Chavasse, double VC recipient and make your own medal.
- Meet Kitty Wilkinson in her Victorian kitchen and find out why she opened the first public wash house.
Giles, Noel and Kitty will be appearing at various times during the day around the Cathedral, no need to book to meet them, just turn up!
Book in for art and craft sessions linked to these people.
Each family friendly craft session is free and lasts up to 45 minutes. All sessions must be pre-booked and each person attending is required to have a ticket. Sessions start at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
Liverpool Cathedral is free to enter and you will also be able to explore our amazing building if you wish to extend your time with us.
