On Wenlock Edge is a famous song cycle by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams written in 1909 for tenor, piano, and string quartet. It sets to music 6 poems by composer A E Housman from his collection ‘A Shropshire Lad’. The programme will be an hour in length and will feature performances by the Cathedral Boys’ Choir, pieces for piano and organ, and On Wenlock Edge performed by tenor Ted Adams.
