Join us for a powerful and enlightening Racial Justice Sunday Service at Liverpool Cathedral on Sunday 11th February at 10:30 am.
We are honoured to have The Rev’d Canon Dr Anderson Jeremiah as our distinguished speaker for this special occasion. Dr Jeremiah, currently an esteemed academic at Lancaster University, was recently announced as the next Bishop of Edmonton in the Diocese of London, where he will carry a crucial responsibility for racial justice within the Church in the capital.
Come and be part of a meaningful day, as we gather to pray for racial justice and embrace the Cathedral’s vision of Encounter, Justice, and Mercy. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with a distinguished speaker who is at the forefront of promoting racial justice within the Church.
All are welcome to attend!
Dean Sue expresses her enthusiasm for this important event, stating:
“Over the past couple of years, the Cathedral has supported Racial Justice Sunday, and we are delighted that the Revd Canon Anderson Jeremiah is our preacher this year. As a Cathedral, we speak of the Cathedral as a place of Encounter, and we hope that people will encounter Justice and Mercy. Racial Justice Sunday has become one of our major opportunities to uphold this vision and to pray for Racial Justice. We are delighted that Canon Anderson has agreed to preach at this service.”
