As Christmas approaches, join us for our traditional Nativity Service.
In this informal celebration of the Christmas story, suitable for all the family, we will recall that first Christmas and why its message of comfort and joy is still so relevant to us in 2021.
Listen to our talented children’s choirs sing upbeat and reflective Christmas music.
Bring your family and friends to encounter this real treat and connect with Christmases past and the real meaning of Christmas.
- Doors open at 14:00
- The Nativity Service last around 45 minutes, finishing at about 15:45
- Limited, free on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- You can find details of alternative parking nearby on the How to Find Us webpage.
Keeping you safe while you are with us at Liverpool Cathedral this Christmas
We want to do all we can to keep you safe when you visit Liverpool Cathedral.
In line with the government’s decision to move England into Plan B, we have made the following changes below to how we operate.
You must wear a face-covering in the Cathedral unless you are medically exempt.
Our people will be wearing face-coverings in the Cathedral unless they are medically exempt.
We have increased the number of sanitising stations in and around the Cathedral. Please sanitise your hands on your way into the Cathedral and at regular intervals during your visit.
We have changed our seating arrangement to keep you distanced from other people attending services.
A message from Dean Sue:
“We want to be able to celebrate the birth of Saviour together and in the safest way possible so please do keep the Cathedral Services as part of your Christmas Celebration and a warm welcome awaits you all as we continue our Advent journey.”
