Joyful Noise! Help Us Raise £40,000 for a New Sound System at Liverpool Cathedral
At Liverpool Cathedral, our mission is to serve our community through worship, music, and events. But to continue this work, we need your help! This Gift Day 2024, we are launching a special campaign to raise £40,000 towards a much-needed, high-quality sound system that will enhance every service, event, and concert in our breathtaking building.
Why Do We Need a New Sound System?
Our current sound system, while faithful, has become outdated and prone to failure. As we continue to host a diverse range of activities, from worship to lectures, concerts, and more, it is vital that we invest in a sound system that can meet the needs of our growing community.
A new system will provide:
- Clearer sound quality: Ensuring every word, prayer, and song is heard with clarity.
- Support for diverse events: From choir concerts to community lectures, our new sound system will accommodate a wide range of Cathedral events.
- Inclusivity: With an updated audio loop system, those who use hearing aids will have a more consistent experience, ensuring everyone can fully participate in worship and events.

We need to raise £40,000 towards a total cost of £180,000. Each donation, large or small, will help us bring clearer sound to our congregation and visitors, creating a better experience for all who enter our Cathedral.
