The music for today’s service is provided by our Outreach Choirs. You can read about them below:
Junior Choir Liverpool – established in 2013, this choir for children aged 6-12 meets once a week on a Wednesday to rehearse. It offers children a fun and gentle introduction to choral singing. This choir is part of our wider Junior Choirs Programme which also has similar choirs in Knowsley and Sefton.
Gilbert Scott Singers – established in 2015, this is our Youth Choir for older children aged 12-18. It is a four-part choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) and is particularly suited to boys’ whose voices are changing. The choir meets once a week on a Wednesday to rehearse.
Liverpool64 – established in 2018, this is our adult community choir for ages 18+. The choir consists of around 70 very friendly singers who sing a wide variety of music and also one full work each year. Past works have included: Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man, Faure’s Requiem, and Vivaldi’s Gloria.
