Liverpool Young Voices Network Launches at Liverpool Cathedral

Liverpool Cathedral is pleased to be hosting the first gathering of the Liverpool Young Voices Network (LYVN) on Monday, 2 February, from 5:30 –7:00 pm, in partnership with the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM).

The Liverpool Young Voices Network is a new knowledge-sharing and networking initiative designed to support and grow choral singing among young people in churches across the Liverpool City Region. By bringing together clergy and church musicians, the network aims to encourage collaboration, share best practice, and strengthen opportunities for young voices to flourish within church music.

The launch event will begin with Evensong sung by the Upper Voices of the Cathedral Choir, offering an opportunity to experience the musical life of the Cathedral. This will be followed by talks from Liverpool Cathedral’s music staff and a presentation from Hugh Morris, Director of the RSCM, outlining the vision and future direction of the network.

This inaugural gathering is open to clergy and church musician representatives from across the Liverpool City Region who are interested in developing and supporting young people’s choral singing within their churches.

Registration is required.
