All Ages Sing

Friday 11 July | 6:30pm

Join us for an uplifting evening of music as choirs from Liverpool Cathedral perform alongside the outreach choirs of the Archdiocese of Liverpool, accompanied by Allerton Brass.

Enjoy a wonderful programme featuring music by Bruckner, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, John Rutter and even The Monkees, celebrating the joy of singing and bringing communities together.

British Sign Language (BSL) Holy Communion

Saturday 11 July | 12:05pm

As part of our commitment to making worship accessible to everyone, we’re pleased to offer regular BSL-interpreted Holy Communion Services.

These services are supported by British Sign Language interpretation, ensuring members of the Deaf community can fully participate in worship.

All are warmly welcome.


Celebrating 102 Years of Liverpool Cathedral
Consecration Festival Eucharist

Sunday 19 July | 10:30am

Join us as we celebrate the 102nd Anniversary of the Consecration of Liverpool Cathedral.

This special Festival Eucharist marks over a century of worship, witness and service while also celebrating the Cathedral Choir’s final Sunday of term.

The service will feature magnificent music by Widor, Bruckner and Edgar Bainton, alongside well-loved congregational hymns.

We’re delighted to welcome The Very Reverend Mark Boyling as our guest preacher.

Everyone is warmly invited to join us for this special celebration.


Pink Floyd by Candlelight

Saturday 25 July | 7:30pm

Experience the music of one of the world’s most iconic bands in the unforgettable setting of Liverpool Cathedral.

Pink Floyd by Candlelight features live performances of timeless classics including:

Visitor Information for July

To help you plan your visit, please note the following temporary changes:

Friday 3 July (6:00pm) – Saturday 4 July (3:00pm)

The Cathedral car park will be closed to visitors.

A limited number of accessible parking spaces will remain available via the Constable’s Lodge on a first-come, first-served basis.


Saturday 4 July

Liverpool Cathedral remains open; however, some areas of the building will have restricted access due to a private event.

The Lady Chapel will remain open throughout the day.

The Welsford Bistro will operate from the Baptistery between 10:00am and 1:00pm before closing for the remainder of the day.

Visitor entry will pause briefly between 1:45pm and 2:15pm, with access available via the Lady Chapel entrance only.


Wednesday 8 – Thursday 9 July

The following will be closed:

  • The Cathedral
  • The Shop
  • The Tower Experience
  • The Welsford Bistro

The Lady Chapel will remain open between 10:00am and 6:00pm for visitors and services.


Liverpool John Moores University Graduation Ceremonies

Monday 20 July – Friday 24 July

We’re delighted to once again welcome thousands of graduates, their families and friends to Liverpool Cathedral for the Liverpool John Moores University Graduation Ceremonies.

During this period, some areas of the Cathedral will have temporary access arrangements while ceremonies take place.

Please check our website before travelling for the latest visitor information.
