The Light Before Christmas: Starlight transforms our grand architecture with stunning projections and an immersive soundtrack, bringing the Nativity story to life in ways that will captivate young and old alike. Make it your annual tradition to step into this luminous wonderland and witness our Cathedral in a different light—literally!
Cherish the Moments with Our Darkness to Light Procession

On the 3rd and 5th of December, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm, get into the festive spirit with Coffee and Carols at Liverpool Cathedral! Join us for a cosy, joyful afternoon filled with traditional Christmas carols and popular festive songs in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy delicious refreshments, including coffee and mince pies, available from the Welsford Bistro, and sing along or simply bask in the heartwarming music. This free event is a wonderful way to unwind and celebrate the season with family and friends—don’t miss it!
