Step Into the Magic with The Light Before Christmas: Starlight
From 29th November to 7th December, our iconic light show returns with a dazzling new experience. The Light Before Christmas: Starlight transforms our grand architecture with stunning projections and an immersive soundtrack, bringing the Nativity story to life in ways that will captivate young and old alike. Make it your annual tradition to step into this luminous wonderland and witness our Cathedral in a different light—literally!

Cherish the Moments with Our Darkness to Light Procession
The start of Advent is marked by the solemn beauty of our Darkness to Light procession. Candles flicker and hymns echo as we journey together, celebrating the light that guides us through the darkness. Join us as we reflect, rejoice, and begin this sacred season with hope and peace.

Get Cozy with Coffee and Carols
On the 3rd and 5th of December, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm, get into the festive spirit with Coffee and Carols at Liverpool Cathedral! Join us for a cosy, joyful afternoon filled with traditional Christmas carols and popular festive songs in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy delicious refreshments, including coffee and mince pies, available from the Welsford Bistro, and sing along or simply bask in the heartwarming music. This free event is a wonderful way to unwind and celebrate the season with family and friends—don’t miss it!

A Magical Christmas Eve for the Whole Family
Nothing says Christmas quite like gathering together for our Christmas Eve services. Experience the joy of carols, heartfelt prayers, and the warmth of community spirit as we come together to celebrate the birth of Christ.
