Public Notice on application to the Fabric Advisory Committee

PUBLIC NOTICE

TAKE NOTICE that the Chapter of the Cathedral Church of: Liverpool

has on this date: 30 November 2023

applied to the Fabric Advisory Committee of the said cathedral for approval of the following proposal: Refurbishment of the exterior surfaces of an electronic organ console and speaker cabinet.  Reconstruction of the speaker cabinet so that it fits in a lift for storage off the main floor.

Summary of the nature of work and its extent (and materials) [or in the case of an object, a short description of it and details of the proposal] : Affixing a light oak veneer on the external surfaces of the console.  Reconstruction of the speaker unit to lower its height by repositioning the speaker units within the cabinet.  The cabinet’s external surfaces will then be covered with light oak veneer to match the console.

Plans, drawings, specifications or other documents
Copies of the plans, drawings, specification and other documents accompanying this application may be examined at the office of the Chapter of the Cathedral Church Liverpool Cathedral, St James’ Mount, Liverpool L1 7AZ

Between the hours of: 10am and 4pm

From this day: 8th January 2024

and until: 5th February 2024
