A visit from Cologne Cathedral…

This past weekend, we were privileged to host a truly unforgettable event at Liverpool Cathedral—a joint Evensong with the esteemed choir from Cologne Cathedral! This special service was a breathtaking prelude to our upcoming choir tour to Cologne, where our Liverpool Cathedral Choir will join forces with Cologne’s renowned singers once again.

The Evensong was a remarkable celebration of sacred music, featuring stirring works by Rathbone, Stanford, and Handel. The combination of two prestigious choirs in our iconic setting was a powerful and moving experience for all who attended. The shared harmonies filled the Cathedral with a sense of unity and purpose, as both choirs brought their unique talents together in a musical tribute to friendship and faith.

With this inspiring event behind us, we now turn our excitement towards the upcoming tour to Cologne, where our Choristers will carry on this tradition of collaboration and shared music. The bond between Liverpool and Cologne, rooted in history since 1908, continues to thrive, and we can’t wait to see what musical magic will unfold on this next chapter of our journey.

Stay tuned for more updates as we follow our Choristers on their incredible adventure to Cologne!
