This tour, by Cathedral Curator Elisa Nocente, is going to highlight artworks realised by women artists.
All of these artworks are on permanent display in different areas of the building.
Together, these works form a reflective journey through themes of vulnerability, love, sacrifice and redemption, using very different materials: bronze, neon light, wood, copper, fabric and mixed media. As we move through the cathedral, these artworks begin to feel connected – almost like chapters in a story, linked by the way each artist brings deeply human experience into a sacred space.
