Due to severe weather conditions and following a further safety assessment, Liverpool Cathedral will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday 24 October.
We recognise this may cause inconvenience and disappointment, but the safety of our visitors, worshippers, staff and volunteers must come first.
In addition, both Cream Classical shows (Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October) have also been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions.
We will continue to review the situation ahead of Sunday’s opening and provide a further update.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

We are about a thirty-minute walk from most central Liverpool locations including Lime Street and Central railway stations and our main bus terminals.
Talking about buses, routes 82, 82A and 86 stop nearby. And if you like the hop on hop off city tours then you can include our Cathedral on your route.
We have buses stopping near the Cathedral every 12 minutes or so – it’s an easy way to get to us. For more details and timetables visit the Merseytravel website.
